Overview
The GE Venue ultrasound machine is a mobile point-of-care color doppler ultrasound designed specifically for critical care and point-of-care markets in which efficiency, ease-of-use, and image quality are the key features. The Venue is the successor to the earlier modes: GE Venue 40 and GE Venue 50. The main differences between the GE Venue R2, R3 and R4 is that the newer models (R3 and R4) include updated imaging technologies, improved processing power, and additional features that may not be available on the R2. The Venue’s biggest benefit is the price and performance. It gets a lot of bang-for-the-buck as many similar tablet-style point-of-care ultrasound machines can be pricey. A 19″ articulating monitor provides a large user interface that provides simple, efficient use as well as high definition images that can be viewed from a distance from a wide viewing angle.
